Portland Alloys Ltd, established in 2004 is an independent Aluminium Stockholder & distributer that services all areas of the UK. We can provide an extensive range of ‘off the shelf’ standard profiles as well as offering a complete service from extrusion design through to manufacture of any bespoke profiles, whilst investigating options to reduce your manufacturing costs. With almost 30 years of experience within the aluminium industry, our knowledge of customer’s requirements assures you of a combination of both expertise and service to suit your individual needs.

To make sure customers are getting the best product for their requirements we start at the design stage assisting them with which alloy would be best suited for their profile, helping draw up their design and advising on finishing. Our team will always look at ways for reducing the cost to the customer at the design stage, just one of the reasons why our customers come back to us again and again.

the process / order cycle

The Design

From receipt of a rough drawing we will talk about the profile and produce a fully dimensioned drawing to the customers requirements. The drawing will be issued to the customer for approval within 48 hours.

Sample Profile

From approval of the design drawing a sample profile will be produced. This is provided to the customer within 3-4 weeks. Once we have the go ahead production will commence.

Delivery

From production we arrange delivery to suit the customer. We can hold your products in our warehouse but still have them to you next day any where in the UK. We can have our standard products delivered to you next day.
